ELROD VELLA

Elrod Vella has been a Wollombi local since he was four, now 12yrs old he is already a celebrated sculptor & artist.

Elrod has been awarded the Junior Sculptor Prize at the Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival 3 times, the Jessica Switzer Art Award at Laguna Public School twice, the Inspiration Award at Ephemera, Five Lands Walk ‘24 and the U12’s Highly Commended Prize at the Wollombi Valley Arts Council’s Emerging Artist Awards ‘25.

Always open for another creative challenge & experience, Elrod was selected to attend the Hunter Creative Arts Camp ‘25 where he spent 4 days at Riverwood Downs for an intensive exploration into the visual arts.
Elrod is a natural born artist with an intense eye for detail.
